Analyst Skënder Minxhozi was invited to a live link on the show ‘Top Talk’ for today, where the topic of discussion was about current events in the country, where it seems that the protagonism of the arena and public attention is being taken by President Ilir Meta with the reactions of within 30 days is expected that the Constitutional Court will issue a decision for or against the dismissal of the latter, as President of the Republic of Albania.
Minxhozi spoke about the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama, which he says was worse than good, as he chose a cabinet ‘to mourn’.
According to the analyst, Rama has focused power in his hands, he has run the state alone and it is politically impossible!
Excerpts from the studio conversation:
Denis Dyrnjaja: The country is getting worse and worse in the opposition-majority ratio, the country does not have the necessary opposition and the government is comfortable in all its being and political journey. They no longer appear in debates, they make statements that may not be related at all to the topicality, because the opposition is totally ‘shattered’.
Skënder Minxhozi: Like any other government this one is governing more badly than well. Rama has chosen a cabinet that really is to mourn, lowering the level from mandate to mandate. He has increasingly focused his hands on power. Behaving as an orchestra person, as a character who runs the state alone. We also understand the quality of leadership as a consequence. The government is pursuing some kind of policies and is taking some kind of decisions that have no opposition in front of them and are taken in a vacuum and without another party to put the dots on the ‘i’ and tell you to stop because you are wrong here. Within the SP itself, the level of what is called democratic debate between structures, forums, personalities does not exist.
Denis Dyrnjaja: Rama is always gaining even more power. Does Edi Rama also need President Meta and will he make a mistake if he gets it?
Skënder Minxhozi: Edi Rama does not need more power, he did not need 60 municipalities and the whole parliament, he does not need as much as he has today, but for 30 years in this country there was only one socialist President and this was Rexhep Mejdani. All other Presidents except Ilir Meta have either been nominated or have been part of the DP. I am convinced that Rama, as the last time the Presidency was presented to him, gave it to someone who was not a socialist, but played the post of President with political gambling, removing Meta from the party field and entering an institution that at the end of 4 years produced an SMI. Just as he gave half of Basha’s government on the eve of the elections and had no problem. He can do something like that even now, if he had an agreement with the right and we do not know what he can produce because he has a lot of power and he does not need that power. It has been proven that the President if he is against the government and the parliament is the loser of any race! Edi Rama would not regret giving him a third factor if he did the job!
