Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Puglia, Italy on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the exodus of Albanians to the neighboring country.
At the Puglia Regional Council, a conference is being held in memory of 1991, attended by the Italian Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio, and the head of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano.
Rama expressed gratitude for all the assistance that Italy has given to Albania not only during the exodus period, but also later in many other cases. He has considered Italy an Albanian lawyer in every country he has been accused of.
“This wall is what we are grateful to Italy, that wall has always led Italy, they have said clearly. Italy is the lawyer at every table that Albania is accused of and that says it all, we are grateful. Thank you for following me as I follow the proceedings in your parliament and silence is not a virtue there. Special thanks to Luig and Michele, I said before and I repeat, Albanians will take this moment with them, those who saw 30 years ago and think they are lucky to see that things have changed 30 years ago pas ”, Rama said during his speech.
