Dendias visited Tirana today with the aim of improving and intensifying bilateral Albanian-Greek relations, especially to advance in the Hague tribunal the resolution of the dispute over the maritime border.
Dendias also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, who, in addition to issues related to social protection, social security, learning the Albanian language, and consulates, expressed her readiness to resolve the problem of the maritime border between the two countries.

Nikos Dendias demanded the advancement of the preparation of the documentation to be sent to the Hague tribunal.
“Fulfilling this procedure is of special importance to us. And both countries want to resolve our differences on the basis of international law and mainly maritime law. I think that beyond the importance it has for our two countries, it also sends a very important message to all other countries that this is the right way and the right way to resolve our divergences. “And it is important that we accelerate the steps to complete the technical part in order to submit the documents to the Hague Tribunal as soon as possible.” tha Dendias
Greece has already realized and accepted that the Greek law of war does not do them any honor in the context of the time in which we live.
“Our relations have developed very well, and even the abrogation of the law of war is something we need to break away from and we need to work together here so that the historic points for its abrogation are concluded as soon as possible. Of course I want to be honest with you, that means we have to discuss practical issues, issues that have to do with the Greek side and that they have to discuss. “And we think things are not as fixed as they seem.”
