Manastirliu stressed that the pace of vaccination is intensifying, in order to conclude as soon as possible the vaccination for white shirts.
“We have the ambition to complete the vaccination of both doctors and hospital nurses, those who are in the front line, but also to continue intensively and to finish as soon as possible the vaccination of family doctors and nurses everywhere in the system. our health ”, stressed Manastirliu.
Considering them as a priority, the Minister of Health said that, according to the vaccination plan, vaccination for the elderly over 80 years will continue, with planning by family doctors.
“Our priority according to the vaccination plan are also the elderly over 80 years old with bandages divided according to age group but also according to morbidity. Therefore, just as we started vaccinating 80-year-olds on Sunday, so we will continue to vaccinate according to all those indications given by the family doctor. And it will be exactly the family doctor, who will notify all the elderly over 80 years old, according to the bandages and guidelines of the Institute of Public Health“, Said Manastirliu.
The Minister of Health stressed that the vaccination process is being carried out according to all safety and quality parameters by a trained team. So far 5612 doctors and nurses have been vaccinated with the first dose, while 655 health personnel have received both doses of the vaccine. A total of 461 seniors and care staff were also vaccinated. A total of 6,728 anti-COVID-19 vaccines have been administered since the start of vaccination, and about 1,000 vaccines are expected to be administered nationwide today.
