The division of the participating teams into pots has already been done. In the second pot are the Netherlands, Mexico, Denmark, Germany, USA, Switzerland, Uruguay and Croatia. the third vase consists of Senegal, Iran, Japan, Serbia, Poland. South Korea, Morocco and Tunisia, while in the fourth pot are Canada, Cameroon, Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, Ghana, Wales or Scotland or Ukraine, Costa Rica or New Zealand and Australia or the United Arab Emirates
The 32 teams will be divided into 8 groups of 4 teams each and each group will consist of a maximum of two European teams. Unlike what has happened in other editions, the teams in the world will not be acquainted with the calendar and the stadiums where they will play, based on the groups where they will be drawn. Details will be learned only in the following. Thus the teams that will be in groups A, B, E, F will be played at Al Bayt, Khalifa International, Al Thumana and Ahmed bin Ali stadiums.
