Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding talks with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, Russian state television reports.
The last time the pair spoke, earlier this week, the French side said there had been nothing encouraging in their conversation.
This comes after the conversation Putin had with Erdogan, about which we reported a little earlier, in which the Turkish leader asked him to declare a ceasefire in Ukraine.
