Residents announced a protest on Saturday at 5 pm at the former Shqiponja Square.
The project for the new neighborhood of May 5 is being developed as part of the reconstruction. This new neighborhood will have more than 13 thousand inhabitants, and will house the families whose homes were destroyed by the earthquake.
Residents of the administrative units no. 4 and 8, whose house will be demolished to make way for the project, will also receive full compensation through the exchange of an apartment in the new buildings with the same meters2 that they had.
