Specialists of the Sector for Investigation of Narcotics and Illegal Trafficking in DVP Tirana, in cooperation with the Sector of the Special Force “Eagle”, following the work to crack down on illegality, based on information obtained through operational means that a citizen had adapted his hotel for drug use, prostitution and carrying firearms on the premises of the hotel, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “Triple”.
As a result of this operation, the following citizens were arrested:
– PH, 52 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses “Adaptation of premises for drug use”, “Maintenance of premises for prostitution”, “Production and sale of narcotics” and “Unauthorized production and possession of firearms, weapons explosives and ammunition ”;
– I. Sh., 41 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics” and “Failure to report a crime”;
– MoD, 35 years old and FK, 39 years old, both residents of Tirana, for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics” and “Prostitution”;
– VB, 54 years old, DL, 35 years old and RS, 23 years old, all three residents in Tirana, for the criminal offense “Prostitution”.
During the control exercised in one of the rooms where the illegal activity of prostitution took place, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance cocaine was found, which was seized as material evidence together with a pistol firearm, ammunition, suspected sums of money. benefited from these criminal activities, two DVR devices, two electronic scales and four mobile devices, which were found in other premises of the hotel owned by the citizen PH
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for further procedural actions.
