The 35kV high voltage electrical network suffered two damages today at noon from private entities, causing power outages on the lines and some substations on the Tirana-Durrës road.
Specifically, at 11:05 the 35kV line Mëzes-Valias was damaged by a private entity while carrying out works, leaving Nst Valias without electricity. The HV (High Voltage) and DSO groups carried out immediate maneuvers, managing to partially supply Nst Valias from the 35kV line of Vora.
While the maneuvers were being carried out, the central dispatcher reported that at 11:50, a high tonnage truck damaged the 35kV Shijak-Vora line (photo), leaving without electricity the Shijak, Manza, Vora and Valias stations, including the lines that supplied 35kV connected entities along these axes.
The situation was normalized within 14 minutes, giving energy to Nst Shijak and private entities, then around 13:00 all the areas that supply the above-mentioned substations received energy.
Meanwhile, Nst Valias is still partially in operation, as works are being carried out for the connection of the cable cut by the private entity.
OSHEE employees are on the ground to normalize the situation as soon as possible, as soon as measures are taken against third parties for the damages caused.
