Dear fellow citizens,
Brothers and sisters of one language and flag, wherever you are,
Today I want to wish you health, prosperity and as many dreams and hopes fulfilled in the New Year that is behind the door!
You’ve heard a lot of long speeches from me this year, like every year now for so many years. I have been in front of you incessantly, on screen, on the computer, on the phone, I hope at least not even asleep. I apologize for the time I have taken you and I am very grateful for the time you have given me. You have listened to me, endured, greeted, supported, encouraged, praised, criticized and even cursed on my social networks, and I sincerely thank you because your attention is a real honor for me, but above all you have trusted me this year, for four years other running our country and very honestly do not know how I can thank you for that.
Today I will leave you comfortable not talking for long, but only apologizing to you for whatever I did not say or could not do properly and assuring you that I feel, understand, live your faith every day , every hour, every minute of my work as something sacred, for which I will always do everything I can to reward it with flesh and soul.
I have more and more confidence that we will climb Albania to the top where our ancestors loved and where our children and our children deserve, with work, can and above all great patience, without stopping, without tired, not giving up, constantly trying to learn from our mistakes and constantly doing the best we can for ourselves.
