The counting of votes for the selection of the candidates of the PD Re-Establishment Group for the March 6 elections has ended in Dibër, Durrës and Vora.
Durrës Democrats elected Ardian Muka, who is running for mayor. Vora chose Lulzim Vrana as a candidate for mayor. While in Debar, the Prime Minister promised.
1546 members voted in the primaries of Durrës. Ardian Muka received 1162 votes, while Silvja Gjepali 373 votes, while 11 votes were invalid.
Out of 713 voters in Debar, Premtim Kryemadhi received 424 votes, Dafina Muda 121 votes and Behar Dema 158 votes. And 10 votes turned out to be invalid.
From the preliminary data, it results that the turnout was even higher than in the referendum of December 18, 2021.
The Re-establishment Commission opened the voting at 8:00 for the primaries in the six municipalities, Durrës, Vora, Rrogozhina, Shkodra, Dibra, Lushnja, the selection of candidates for the by-elections on March 6.
The group of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha invited the members of the Democratic Party in the branches of Dibër, Durrës, Lushnjë, Rrogozhinë, Shkodër and Vora to become part of the primary voting process “as an exercise of democracy, as a unifying process, for a more Democratic Party stronger, more united ”.
