US President Joe Biden will speak with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, following suspicions that China may be directly involved in aid to Russia during the latter’s aggression in Ukraine.
The news was announced by the press office near the White House, where the subject of the virtual meeting, officially, is the issue of Ukraine and other issues of common concern for the two countries.
China has denied involvement in economic or military aid to Russia since the aggression began on February 24.
This conversation also comes after a real marathon, in the meeting that the US National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan, had with his Chinese counterpart, Yang Jiechi.
The American issue against the Russian occupation of Ukraine was the subject of much discussion.
For the Americans, it is clear that Beijing will help Moscow, if it has not already helped, with economic aid. The question remains, whether China will continue with other moves or not.
