Police employees who exercise their duty outside their residence will benefit from a financial bonus over 50% greater than what they received before.
The financial effects of this decision start from July 1, and this decision benefits more than 1,000 police officers who serve in various duties as commandees or appointed away from their place of residence.
The lowest distance for which a bonus is given is 36 kilometers, a distance for which since 2015 police officers received a bonus of 3,000 Lek, while from July 1st they will receive a bonus of 10,000 Lek.
Based on the distance from the place of residence to the workplace, the bonus is calculated. The furthest distance is 200 km, for which previously police officers received a bonus of 15,000 Lek, while after July 1st they will receive 30,000 Lek.
