• During this week, 493 persons were arrested, prosecuted and declared wanted, out of which: 136 were arrested, 334 were prosecuted and 23 were declared wanted.
• A total of 54 wanted persons were apprehended, 51 of them nationally wanted and 3 internationally wanted.
• 20 coded police operations were conducted: “Overpass”, “Chiller”, “Replace”, “Promise”, “Municipality”, “Zenelaj”, “Double 3”, “Thirra”, “Gryka”, “Vazhdimësia”, “Shot 2”, “Muriqani”, “Perimeter”, “Zimaj”, “Alienation of the Lagoon”, “Butterfly”, “Luzi 2”, “Tower”, “Dawn” and “Bruz Zalli”, from these:
• 4 for striking an unlicensed weapon;
• 6 in the field of cultivation, production and sale of narcotics;
• 3 in the field of assistance to illegal immigrants to cross the border;
• 3 for apprehending wanted persons;
• 2 in the field of fraud;
• 1 for cracking down on the explosives trade;
• 1 for cracking down on environmental crimes.
• As a result of operations and beatings by DVP in the counties, about 30 kg of suspected narcotic substances cannabis, cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, thousands of narcotic plants, items of suspected stolen value, 3 mobile phones and the amount of money suspected to be benefited from criminal activity.
• In the field of illegal possession of weapons, 12 cases were identified and hit and 4 firearms, 1 sporting weapon, 4 knives, 2 metal gloves, 1 kg of tritol explosives and ammunition were seized.
• 10 cases of opposition by police officers were cracked down on, and 50 cases of domestic violence were prosecuted.
• 35 cases of environmental crimes, 5 cases of organizing games of chance and 8 cases of theft of electricity were identified and cracked down on.
• In the field of narcotics, 35 cases were identified and hit, while in the field of economic crime, 29 cases were identified and hit.
Traffic Police / Intensive monitoring on all road axes, using the intelligent car “Poliscan”, automatic license plate reader, automatic radars installed in the fleet of new vehicles, cameras and other uniform equipment, in order to prevent road accidents.

• During this week, 574 driving licenses were suspended, of which: 413 for speeding, 115 for driving under the influence of alcohol or drunk and 46 for driving in the opposite direction.
• 61 drivers were arrested, out of which: 24 for driving while intoxicated and 37 for driving without a driving license.
• 2 citizens were arrested who were driving the vehicle, under the effect of narcotics, and 3 cases of attempted corruption of Traffic Police employees were hit.
• 16,633 administrative measures have been imposed, mainly for violations that are a risk for involvement in road events.
Border Police / Increased measures to successfully cope with the influx at border crossing points, at the start of the tourist season. Intensive controls of floating and entertainment vehicles used during the tourist season. Increased controls at both the green and blue borders, in order to prevent and crack down on illegality and illegal trafficking.
• During this week, 15 wanted citizens were arrested, of which 13 in national search and 2 in international search.
• 8 citizens were prosecuted for the criminal offense “Illegal border crossing”; 6 citizens, for the criminal offense “Assistance in illegal border crossing” and 7 citizens, for the criminal offense “Forgery of documents”.
• Also, 23 cases of bribery were hit and 3 citizens were prosecuted, who, due to shortcomings in the documentation, tried to corrupt the Border Police employees.
The State Police is committed and determined to fight organized crime and crime in general, as well as to ensure law and order throughout the country and road safety during the summer tourist season.
