Strongly condemns the Russian military aggression in Ukraine and the grave violation by the Russian Federation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as an act that violates the international order, openly and flagrantly violating the United Nations Charter, the Final Act of Helsinki , The Budapest Memorandum, the Minsk Agreements, as well as a number of other international and bilateral documents that Russia has voluntarily signed.
Encourages and supports the diplomatic activity and the measures taken by the Albanian government, in coordination with our strategic allies, the USA and the EU, in support of the sovereignty of Ukraine and the principles of European security and the global order of relations between the states.
Supports economic sanctions and diplomatic measures taken by strategic partners against the Russian Federation, and military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and its people.
Calls for the immediate cessation of the use of force by the Russian Federation in Ukraine and for the withdrawal of Russian military forces from the territory of Ukraine according to internationally recognized borders.
Strongly condemns Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, saying that acts against innocent civilians are war crimes and that the perpetrators of this aggression must be brought to justice by the International Court of Justice.
The Assembly requests the Government to:
Continue engagement, in close coordination with all NATO and EU Allied and Partner countries, the UN Security Council, the OSCE, the CoE, in the Balkan region and with other partners, in support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and principles of international law and European security;
