A flight instructor in Russia and one of his students have been expelled from the pilot school following the publication of a sex video they had recorded during the instructional flight.
The video recorded for contained numerous sexual elements that broke the safety and seriousness of the profession, officials said.
The Sasovo Civil Aviation School said it had fired its mischievous instructor and student, who had put the vehicle in ‘autopilot’ mode in order to film themselves having sex.
The 28-year-old married pilot reportedly persuaded the 21-year-old student to have sex with him in exchange for some other free pilot lessons.
The couple were in the cockpit of a small Cessna 172 aircraft in the Russian region of Ryazan when they recorded their adventure, writes the local daily ‘Gazeta’.
The Sasovo flight school granted them the exemption after the faces were recognized in the video posted online.
Local media reported that the instructor had persuaded the student to have sex with him by promising her extra flight time.
The girl had initially refused because she was married but later accepted his offer of free extra tuition.
When asked what had happened, the young woman said the aircraft had been placed on the autopilot and that they had just kissed and hugged.
She claimed that this had only happened on one occasion and had not been repeated.
The scandal only came to light when the girl had an argument with another student about the extra flight time she was taking, when the video was posted online in revenge.
After posting intimate video during the flight with the school plane, the couple were expelled, although some media said the girl had completed her course and received the documentation.
