Currently, 134 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals, of which 14 are in a more serious condition. In the last 24 hours there are three loss of life with SARS-COV2 positive: Two citizens from Durrës from 73 years old and one citizen from Tirana 85 years old.
Over 2.5 million coronavirus vaccinations have been performed in our country so far.
1,754 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 214,633 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Any citizen over 16 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point.
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
The Ministry appeals to citizens who have passed 6 months since the second dose of the vaccine, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.
