The Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs announces the strengthening of anti-covid measures at the Kakavija Crossing Point.
Starting from March 1 until March 15, 2021:
– The Border Crossing Point will be open from 07:00 to 19:00, instead of the 23:00 that was until now.
– The number of people who enter every day will be further limited. Out of 750 people, only 400 will be allowed.
– Those who will enter Greece will undergo a quick test, from which the drivers of trucks or barges will not be excluded.
– All those who will be tested positive, will not be allowed to enter Greece, while those who enter, will be subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine, from 7 days that was until now.
The MFA recalls that the Crossing Points in Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro continue to be open and Albanian citizens can travel to these countries without the need for a negative PCR test and without undergoing isolation measures.
