Milo Djukanovic is visiting Kosovo for the first time today, in his first visit as President of Montenegro. In a joint press conference with Kosovo counterpart Vjosa Osmani, the two presidents shared the view that the Berlin Process is a start that the Balkans need and not an “Open Balkan”.
Meanwhile, the President of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic said that they are not part of the “Open Balkan” initiative.
“We are very aware of the possibility of regional economic cooperation. This principled orientation does not mean that we have our eyes closed. But, we think that in this topic we have a good initiative of the Berlin Process. “This initiative is complementary to the path to European integration,” he said.
“Instead of needing to create new initiatives, use the potential of existing initiatives,” he said.
