About 27 people are believed to have died in Japan after a fire broke out in a building on the outskirts of Osaka.
Japanese police are investigating the possible causes of the fire until it is believed that someone may have set it on fire intentionally.
According to local media, the victims of this incident suffered a “cardio-pulmonary” attack, a term that is often used in preliminary reports before the death is officially confirmed.
Numerous views from the scene showed a lot of smoke until the fourth floor of the building was engulfed in flames. Rescue crews immediately went to the scene and extinguished the fire after almost 30 minutes.
The building in Osaka which was engulfed by fire is located in a busy commercial area.
In 2019, Japan was affected by the greatest tragedy since World War II. A man set fire to a film studio in Kyoto until 36 people died in the incident.
