And it seems that this sensitivity to the beauty of nature, but also to the indifference of the lands left uncultivated and forgotten, have excited the painter Orion Shima to bring us a cycle in the triptych, which he called “This autumn”. This is his autumn, with an extraordinary color, with symbolic elements and definitely all to enjoy.
Orion’s deep sensitivity to nature has been proven for decades, culminating in important exhibitions at home and abroad, most recently in Berlin.
According to curator Paris Terefici, the art of the last century ignored nature and even hated it. It seemed as if the ravens of Van Gogh’s last painting had taken with them in the dark the wheat field along with the sky.
Orion Shima: The motives are mainly from the suburbs of Tirana. Iba, Rinasi, ubiquitous observations, but I like to challenge memory and work them in the studio.
He does not idealize nature, he is not even set to imitate and copy it, but strains all the senses to grasp its timbre. The picture shows the figure of a man and a horse.
