Orges Bilbili, sentenced to life imprisonment by the Special Court for the double murder in Lushnja, seeks acquittal from the Special Court of Appeals.
In the appeal submitted to the Appeal, the lawyer Detar Hysi claims that Bilbi was convicted in the absence of scientific evidence and with manipulated evidence and obtained in violation of the law.
Bilbili and Anterio Kaloshi were found guilty by the Court for the murder of Zamir Latifi, Jurgen Hoxha and the wounding of two other people in Lushnja in 2017 based on some film footage and testimonies of relatives of the victims.
He, meanwhile, was acquitted on suspicion of involvement in the assassination of Aldo Bares’s grandson, Julio February.
