The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuçiç, during the holding of the “Open Balkan” Summit in Tirana, started this Tuesday with an expression of the 32nd US President, Franklin D. Roosevelt: We may not prepare the future for our children, but we can prepare our children for the future.
According to him, Open Balkan is an initiative to prepare the future for children, to enable citizens to connect and exchange experiences.
“We may not prepare the future for our children, but we can prepare our children for the future. It is an initiative that will create the future of our children. If we open the borders, the most important objective is to connect our citizens, our people. those who have thought about the past more than about the future. I saw a great desire to invest, to do business in both Serbia and Northern Macedonia. For work permits, I would like to show with an example, the factories that we actually have in Northern Macedonia, they needed engineers to do some training with our workers. It was difficult to get work permits, we will not do anything that they are welcome. We will expand the labor market by attracting more companies coming from the west, that we will offer them more jobs, this will be important in the future. This is the foundation, the real basis of the best economic development of our three countries. We have heard the businesses of all three of our countries. Trade will be easier, these are extremely important issues for many of our citizens, the three of us together or all together will have to discuss the next steps because people want to see more results, it has come to me a little on the tip of the nose that we will have to give excuses for nothing. “Why should we apologize for this initiative? We have no reason to apologize to those who are not part of it.”, said Vuçiiç.
The “Open Balkans” Summit is being held in Tirana this Tuesday, a meeting between Prime Minister Edi Rama and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia, Zoran Zaev.
They arrived in Albania last night, while Rama welcomed them with a welcome dinner in Elbasan, thus avoiding the trip to Tirana, where the protest called by Sali Berisha against the arrival of Vucic was being held.
About 5 agreements will be signed:
1-A common and free labor market between Albania, Serbia and Northern Macedonia.
2-Establishment of a joint electronic interconnection scheme for citizens in the Western Balkans.
3-Intergovernmental agreement between Albania, Serbia and Northern Macedonia on cooperation in the field of veterinary, food safety and phytosanitary in the Western Balkans.
4-Albania-Serbia Agreement on Mutual Recognition of the Economic Security Operator (AEOS).
5-Albania-Northern Macedonia Agreement on mutual recognition of the economic operator for security (AEOS).
