US Ambassador Yuri Kim reacted to the problems of the Durrës Cadastre.
“We welcome the sincere report of the Cadastre Agency regarding the shortcomings and possible crimes in Durrës. We expect concrete steps to hold those responsible accountable, to increase transparency and to close opportunities for corruption, When it comes to property registration in Durrës and elsewhere in Albania. Such steps will attract more investment, including from the US. “They will also make it clear that Albania is ready to join the EU.”said Kim.
