Bamir Topi has resigned from the leadership of the New Democratic Spirit party. Top Channel has provided the document that bears Topi’s signature, where he also resigns irrevocably.
“In the expression of TIM’s will, I declare my immediate and irrevocable resignation from the post of Chairman of the” New Democratic Spirit “Party,” the resignation letter reads.
Bamir Topi’s sudden decision comes a day after FRD representative Sali Shehu signed an agreement with Democrat leader Lulzim Basha to be part of the opposition coalition in the April 25 elections.
