A British man has been killed in Ukraine, while another is missing, said the UK Foreign Office, Development and Commonwealth Office (FCDO).
The two Britons are thought to have fought against Russian forces as volunteers supporting the Ukrainian army, Sky News reports.
“We can confirm that a British citizen has been killed in Ukraine and that they are supporting his family.
For the missing person, the spokesman added: We are aware of a British citizen who has disappeared in Ukraine. We are urgently seeking further information. ” he said.
