The Transparency Board convened on 5 April 2022 set new retail and wholesale fuel prices for the domestic market. These prices reflect the changes that have taken place in international markets.
Based on the above, the Transparency Board set up by government decision, in order to temporarily limit wholesale / retail trade prices, based on the methodology of price construction according to Article 21/5 of the Normative Act, decided:
Approval of the wholesale price ceiling of products for the date 05.04.2022 until 12.04.2022, as follows:
221 Lekë / liter for diesel;
197 Lekë / liter for gasoline;
103 Lekë / liter for gasoline
Approval of the retail price ceiling of products for the date 05.04.2022 to 12.04.2022, as follows:
233 Lekë / liter for diesel;
209 Lekë / liter for gasoline;
115 Lekë / liter for liquefied petroleum gas. * (The selling price for liquefied petroleum gas will be the price of supply at gas stations at gas stations, while at other points for household and industrial customers the price should not be include excise).
The decision of the Board enters into force and will be reflected on April 5, until the next meeting of the board, in order to reflect in the retail price of these by-products, possible price changes in international markets.
Every wholesale and retail operator of petroleum by-products is obliged to implement the Decision of the Transparency Board, regarding the wholesale and retail prices.
Law enforcement agencies will monitor the implementation of Transparency Board decisions on a daily basis.
In case of violations found by various operators, activity suspension, license revocation and sequestration will be imposed.
