European Union sanctions on Russia have pushed up the price of oil.
This increase was also observed in Kosovo, where oil was sold for 1 euro and 71 cents at retail points on Friday.
According to experts this happened because a barrel of oil went to over 120 dollars. Despite the current rise in oil prices, experts expect even more growth if the EU bans Russian pipeline oil.
Experts say that the rise in oil prices will have an even greater impact on inflation. prices for food, raw materials, energy and all transport-dependent products and services will continue to rise, putting pressure on enterprises and households.
This is already reflected in some basket products in Kosovo. the price of oil has gone to two euros and 90 cents per liter. The price of sugar has also risen, with five kilograms of sugar already costing four euros and 84 cents, or ten cents more than a few days ago. Among other things, the price of eggs has increased by 23 cents, reaching 3 euros and three cents.
