The Transparency Board has published this Tuesday the new hydrocarbon prices for the period 23-25 March 2022.
Compared to the previous decision, oil and gasoline prices have increased by 12 and 7 ALL per liter, respectively, while the price of gas remains unchanged at 93 ALL / liter.
The wholesale price of oil will be 227 ALL / liter and the gasoline by-product for the period March 23-March 25, 2022, will be 208 ALL / liter.
The retail price of oil will be 233 ALL / liter, while gasoline 218 ALL / liter.
The retail price of the gas by-product for the period March 23-March 25, 2022 has remained unchanged, ALL 93 / liter.
On the stock exchange the price of oil on March 22 was $ 1,204 / Ton, it has increased by $ 231 since March 16, 2022 when it was $ 973 / Ton. The price of gasoline on March 22 was $ 1,086 / ton, an increase of $ 113 since March 16 when it was $ 973 / ton.
The decision of the Board enters into force and will be reflected on March 23, while the next meeting will be on Friday, March 25, 2022 in order to reflect in the retail price of these by-products, of possible price changes in international markets.
Any wholesaler and retailer of petroleum by-products is obliged to implement the Decision of the Transparency Board, regarding wholesale and retail prices, otherwise it will face penalties.
Recall that our country has been facing for a month now uncontrolled increase in prices of basket products and hydrocarbons.
Citizens have been protesting, demanding price cuts and opposing the Social Resistance Package approved by the government. Inflation has affected Europe, including our country, since the start of the war in Ukraine.
