The agreement to allow the transportation of wheat from the Black Sea has already been signed, where the ports of Odesa, Chernomorsk and Yuzhny will be part of it. The Russian blockade will allow the passage of the resource, in order to alleviate the global food crisis.
More than 20 million tons of wheat have been stuck in southern Ukraine since Russia launched its unprovoked attack on Ukraine on February 24.
Russian news agencies have quoted several sources as saying that three Ukrainian ports will be reopened, including the largest state port of Odesa.
The United States has welcomed the deal announcements, but the US State Department has said it will focus on holding Russia accountable for its implementation.
