Flamur Noka in a press conference this Wednesday said that Enkelejd Alibeaj is following the game of Edi Rama and Lulzim Basha to divide the DP.
According to him, the Re-establishment Group is determined to unite the DP and that no one can stop them on this journey aimed at removing the Rama government.
“The time has come for us to come together to shorten the life of this government. Alibeaj is following the game of Edi Rama and Lul Basha to divide the DP, it has no mission what the Democrats want, to become united openly before the regime. Every MP is clear and can not be taken hostage, in case Alibeaj is held hostage like Basha, all Democrats are free. We are determined to do everything in this direction. Deputies have been invited and will be part of this process, unifying, nothing stops them, the hostages do their job, the Democrats will continue their work“, Said Noka.
Regarding the US State Department Report, Flamur Noka said that the opposition’s accusations that Rama controls justice, supported by crime and patronage, were confirmed.
Noka is stationed in Sali Berisha’s group, against Alibeaj, who demand his removal.
In the statement given after the end of the meeting of the Parliamentary Group a day ago, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha made strong accusations against the government, expressing that they are putting pressure on the issue of the PD Statute file in the Court of Appeals. Berisha said that he will not hesitate to provide evidence in this regard and that he supports this claim in two sources.
The meeting of the PD Parliamentary Group convened by the commanding chairman Enkelejd Alibeaj on Tuesday was accompanied by debates between Berisha and Alibeaj supporters.
Noka accused the former Secretary General, Gazment Bardhi, of being the cause of the crisis in the Democratic Party.
“You are the cause that the DP is in this situation,” Noka is said to have said at the meeting.
Bardhi on the other hand said that the Re-establishment Commission is trying to remove the responsibility from itself.
“When you came on the day of the court decision, you said that the court decisions are implemented, while today you say that the court belongs to Rama“, Bardhi further replied.
Former leader of the Democrats Lulzim Basha, as well as MPs Agron Gjekmarkaj, Grida Duma, Alfred Rrushaj, Flutura Açka, Belind Kelliçi, Dash Sula, Ferdinand Xhaferri, Bujar Leskaj and Agron Shehaj did not participate in the sweaty meeting.
The deputies of the Re-establishment Group, including former Prime Minister Berisha and Flamur Noka, Edmond Spaho and Luan Baçi, also became part of the meeting at the PD headquarters.
FULL DECLARATION OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, MP FLAMUR NOKA
Edi Rama’s government poses a real threat to the rights of Albanian citizens through massive corruption, political pressure on justice and economic pressure on the media and vote buying. This is the result after the scan that the US State Department has done to the human rights situation in the country during the election year 2021. The DASH report best confirms all the concerns, denunciations and accusations of the Democratic Party and the opposition. Were Albanians free to choose the government they wanted? The State Department says No! The will of the Albanians has been distorted by a government that bought the votes, used the state budget and the criminal system of patronage, exposing over 900 thousand citizens to the political pressure of the ruling party. Is the justice system independent? US State Department Report Says No! “Although the constitution provides for an independent judiciary, political pressure, intimidation, corruption and limited resources prevented the judiciary from functioning fully, independently and efficiently,” the report said. Albanians know who has the power to put pressure on justice. There is a name, which should be at the top of the list as a hostage of independent justice! This is Edi Rama. One of the most brutal manifestations of this pressure, Edi Rama gave during the congress of the Socialist Party, when he told the SPAK who should investigate and who is untouchable. The Democratic Party has voted for justice to end impunity at the highest levels of government, but with Edi Rama controlling every power, this mission is undermined. Is this government corrupt? The US State Department report says yes. A corrupt government in all its branches, as the State Department claims, a corrupt prime minister and political pressure on justice is an alarm bell for Albanians! The time has come for us to come together, despite our political convictions, to shorten the life of this government that sells and buys the rights of Albanians and buys them for Edi Rama’s personal chair.
