The Africa Cup of Nations will be held regularly according to the program from January 9 to February 6, 2022 in Cameroon.
This was confirmed by the president of the African Football Confederation Patrice Motsepe after the meeting that the latter had in the capital of Cameroon Yaounde with the head of state Paul Biya this Tuesday.
“I will arrive in Cameroon on January 7 to play and watch football and I will be at the Olembe Stadium on January 9 with my family to attend the Cameroon-Burkina Faso challenge.
“I will be in Cameroon on February 6 to hand over the trophy, which my friend Samuel Eto’o thinks Cameroon will win, while the president of the Federation of Senegal thinks the opposite,” said Motsepe.
