The stadium of the reigning champions of Abissnet Superiore, as “Niko Dovana” of the city of Durrës, is nearing the end of the reconstruction and replacement of its carpet.
The President of the Albanian Football Federation Armand Duka together with the President of the Teuta Club, Edmond Hasanbelliu, have been for an inspection of these works and to inaugurate one of the training fields of the annex of this stadium.
“Durres can be considered as one of the clubs with relatively good infrastructure, but there are opportunities to do more. We, in cooperation with the club, together with the Municipality of Durrës have invested in the reconstruction of this field where we are now, of the other annex and of the stadium field. “But, given the geographical position of the stadium, it is possible to do even more, in order to have as many children to play football and to create better conditions for the first team,” he said. Meanwhile, President Hasanbelliu emphasized once again that the sports complex near the stadium of this city has a large preserved space and as a result there will be another field that will be completed in the coming days.
“I want to thank the Football Federation and in particular President Duka for these investments that are very important for us and especially for amateurs and children. In addition to this field that has ended and turned out very well and very nicely, also the other field that is ending in a week. We have a lot of space and we say that in cooperation with the Federation we will fix everything “, said Hasanbelliu.
In the next two phases, the leaders of the champion club of the country will return to play their matches at the stadium “Niko Dovana” which has conditioned them to play their matches in transfer as in Rrrogozhina or Elbasan.
