After more than a month since he met with the veterans to stop the protests, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has submitted his proposals to the Organizations that emerged from the war.
Kurti has proposed to start drafting a new law which starts the process of evaluating and verifying veterans. But, according to them, this cannot be done because of a judicial process.
Another proposal of the head of government is the categorization of veterans, which, according to Klinak, is also hindered by the current judicial process of clearing the lists.
Meanwhile, regarding Kurti’s third proposal for employment support and salary subsidy for veterans, Klinaku adds that this can be done even now, but there is no will.
The organizations that emerged from the war will hold a meeting to then respond to Kurt’s letter, but not excluding protests in the event that the law that enables the increase of the minimum wage and leaves aside veterans’ pensions goes to the second reading in the Assembly.
