Netflix has recently released a short trailer for the second season of the hit drama series “Squid Game,” along with a message from creator, writer, director and executive producer Hwang Dong-Hyuk detailing which characters are returning for the second season.
Hwang alongside the trailer which contains a short animation of the giant doll that appears in ‘Squid Game’ says that:

He goes on to say that:
It took 12 years to bring to life the first season of ‘Squid Game’ last year. But it took 12 days for ‘Squid Game’ to become the most popular Netflix series ever. As the writer, director and producer of ‘Squid Game’, a big appeal to fans around the world: ‘Thank you for watching and liking our series’.
Hwang’s statement goes on to tell a bit of the story for next season and reveals that protagonist Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) and masked antagonist Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) will both return. He also revealed that Young-hee’s boyfriend, the giant killer doll, will be introduced. Recall that the first season of ‘Squid Game’ recorded 1.65 billion views in the first four weeks of release, becoming Netflix’s largest television series.
Recently, ‘Netflix’ has announced that it will bring back the successful Spanish series “Money Heist” during the summer season, but this time in the Korean version. ‘Money-Heist Korea’ has released the latest trailer and premiere date.
