New details are being learned from the serious event that happened this morning in Tirana, where a house caught fire and as a result a six-month-old baby lost his life.
In the information provided by the journalist of Top Channel, Dorjana Bezat, it is said that the fire broke out in the basement in an isolated environment, while it is suspected that it happened because of the canister that was used for cooking.
At the time of the incident, only the grandmother was in the apartment with the baby, while the mother was not there.
It is also learned that the grandmother came out as soon as she found the flames, while the baby remained in the smoke until the fire brigade arrived.
Two firefighting units intervened at the scene and the baby was able to get out of the apartment alive, but died in the hospital due to asphyxiation.
