Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba considers “difficult” the idea of continuing negotiations with Russia, following the attacks in the eastern city of Kramatorsk and the atrocities committed in the city of Bucha.
“It’s extremely difficult to imagine sitting with people who find excuses for all these war crimes, which have done so much damage to Ukraine,” Kuleba told NBC.
However, he added that talks with Russian negotiators could avoid another “Bucha” or other attacks in the country, so “the possibility of negotiations should be considered.”
At least 52 people were killed Friday, including children, after Russian forces fired rockets at a train station in Kramatorsk as civilians were trying to evacuate.
