The police operation codenamed “Green Forest” is finalized. The operation carried out after several months of investigation, by the Section for Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime in DVP Korça, under the direction of the Prosecution of the Korça Judicial District, to crack down on illegal activity carried out by state employees.
Suspended from acting, 9 public officials of several different institutions.
Specialists of the Section for Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime in the Local Police Directorate of Korça, under the direction of the Prosecution of the Korça Judicial District, after several months of investigation, finalized the operation codenamed “Green Forest”, during which they executed security measures with Prohibition character “Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service”, determined by the decision dated 28.03.2022, by the Court of the Korça Judicial District, for the citizens:
-GP, 54 years old, resident in Korça (acting inspector in the Forest Inspection Sector of Korça);
– FT, 28 years old, resident in Kamza, Tirana (acting director of the Tirana Forest Inspection Directorate);
– M. Sh., 38 years old, resident in Tirana (acting head of the Operational Sector in the Directorate of Forest Inspection Tirana);
– EQ, 39 years old, resident in Korça (acting head of the Korça Environmental and Water Inspection Sector);
– JM, 47 years old, resident in Korça (acting inspector in the Korça Territorial Control Inspection Sector);
– KD, 51 years old, resident in Korça (acting inspector in the Sector of Environmental and Water Inspection of Korça);
– PC, 61 years old, resident in Ersekë (acting chief inspector in the Sector of Control and Protection of the Territory of Kolonjë);
– OJ, 52 years old, resident in Korça (acting inspector in the Directorate of Gas and Oil Inspection Korça);
– JM, 53 years old, resident in Korça (acting inspector in the Directorate of Pressure Equipment Korça).
These citizens, during the time they have been employed in the state institutions mentioned above, are suspected of abusing their duty, by committing or not committing acts intentionally, in violation of the law, bringing to other persons, unfair benefits and by harming the legitimate interests of the state, citizens and other legal entities.
