As a result of the cooperation of Interpol Tirana with Interpol Athens/Greece, the arrest in Greece and the extradition to our country of Albanian citizens became possible:
Qani Shehu, 44 years old, born in Mallakastër and Albano Zepaj, 39 years old, resident in Vlora.
The citizen Qani Shehu was declared internationally wanted by the Interpol Tirana CCO, after the Court of the Judicial District of Tirana, with the decision dated 15.05.2015, sentenced him to 8 years of imprisonment, for the criminal offenses “Murder” remaining in the attempt and “Production and illegal possession of weapons and ammunition”.
On 31.05.2013, in a bar in Tirana, the citizen Qani Shehu wounded the citizen LL with a firearm.
The citizen Albano Zepaj was declared an international wanted after the Criminal College of the Supreme Court, with the decision dated 18.05.2016, sentenced him to 5 years and 4 months of imprisonment, for the criminal offenses “Deliberate serious injury” and “Production and possession without a weapons and ammunition license”.
The extradited persons were handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons.
