A serious incident occurred on Sunday evening in Turin, Italy, where a 27-year-old Albanian attacked his ex-girlfriend on the street.
He has been identified as Jetmir Kurtsmajlaj, who has been arrested by Italian police and charged with attempted murder. The 27-year-old attacked his ex-partner, 20 years old and of Greek origin.
The attack took place near her home. The girl received severe stab wounds to the chest, abdomen and neck. She was rushed to hospital and stayed for 6 hours in the operating room.
There were several passers-by who witnessed the attack, and raised the alarm by notifying the carabinieri, reports La Stampa.
