The international drug operation was finalized in Italy where 2 criminal groups were hit and at least 34 people were handcuffed.
One detainee is also in Albania, while other arrests were made in Milan, Bergamo, Brindisi, Lodi, Pavia, Reggio Calabria, Reggio Emilia, Roma and Varese, at the end of Operation Miracolo 2.
Recently, the Albanian Police has provided official information regarding the crackdown on the criminal group dealing with cocaine and marijuana trafficking in Italy and Albania.
As part of the operation codenamed ‘Miracolo II’, 33 people were arrested in Italy and one person in Albania.
The Italian police and special forces RENEA, Fast Albania, Interpol Tirana and the police directorates of Fier, Tirana and Elbasan are engaged in this operation.
The operation was finalized this morning as Rosman Sulon, 28, was arrested and arrested in Fier, for the purpose of extradition to Italy.
Operation “MIRACOLO II” is a continuation of Operation “MIRACOLO I”, which started in 2018, with the arrest of Italian citizen Santo Tucci, who was caught with 27 kg of hashish, 1.7 kg of cocaine and 2 pistols.
As part of both operations “MIRACOLO I” and “MIRACOLO II” were seized 4 kg of cocaine, 35 kg of hashish, 52 kg of marijuana, 260 thousand euros, 2 pistols with silencer and cartridges.
