The Minister of Education, Arbërie Nagavci, after the approval of the Kosovo budget, gave details on where the budget is planned to go in education.
According to her, the education budget has increased by more than 12% from last year.
“Employment of assistants for children with special needs, from 100 assistants in the next four years, expectation of inclusion of preschool children in pre-primary classes as well as in new preschool institutions, investments in improving school infrastructure and creating more conditions good for work, the budget for the educational staff with serious health condition, the payment of the realization of the professional practice for the students of education and vocational training, the payment of the expenses for the daily meal for the students from 1-5, three salaries after retirement and jubilee salaries, university revenues have increased by 11% compared to last year, the budget for science has increased significantly with Horizon – 1.3 mil for 2021-2022. “This is the largest budget approved so far, it will be the budget of development, welfare, solidarity and investments”, she wrote on Facebook, where she thanked all the deputies who voted for the budget.
