The mayor of the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych, has urged city residents to leave.
“I suggest all those who want to stay alive to leave the city. “About 230,000 people remain in the city of Mykolayiv now.” said the mayor.
Evacuation routes outside the city are in the directions of Odessa, Kryvyi Rih and Kiev.
He described the situation as generally very bad, where the city is bombed every day.
The mayor said 111 people were killed and 502 people were injured, including six children.
