Moscow has charged 92 members of Ukraine’s armed forces with crimes against humanity, the head of Russia’s investigative committee, Alexander Bastrykin, said.
Bastrykin said more than 1,300 criminal investigations had been launched and also proposed an international tribunal backed by countries including Iran, Syria and Bolivia – traditional allies of Russia.
Ukraine, on the other hand, is also conducting its own war crimes investigations.
Bastrykin also stated that of the 92 people who have already been charged by Russia, including 51 commanders of the armed forces, are being sought.
