The International Organization for Migration has published statistics on internally displaced civilians due to Russian attacks in recent weeks.
So far more than 7.7 million Ukrainians have been displaced leaving everything behind, while the number has grown by 17.5% or more than one-sixth of Ukraine’s population before the start of the war.
According to CNN in another survey conducted it was found that at least 60% of internally displaced persons are women, while 28% of families with children under the age of five have had difficulty in providing essential food.
So far, more than five million refugees have fled Ukraine and taken refuge in neighboring countries since the attacks began on February 24.
