Traffic on the Interstate 25 freeway was stopped yesterday in Colorado, USA after the snow-covered road brought at least multiple accidents involving at least 50 vehicles.
Winter conditions made the situation more difficult and traffic was blocked by the large number of vehicles.
Denver police said they were investigating a multiple collision around 4pm local time, which according to firefighters involved about 50 vehicles.
No serious injuries were reported.
A few hours earlier another multiple collision had occurred on the south side of the same highway with at least 20 vehicles involved.
Five people were injured in the accident, who were not in danger of death, the news agency wrote. The Sun.
