This morning the state of Montenegro is shaken by several bomb threats.
E-mails have arrived in the offices of municipalities, schools and the police announcing the planting of bombs in some institutions, in the municipalities of Bar, Herceg Novi, Budva, Kotor, Bijelo Polje, Danilovgrad, Mojkovac, Niksic, Cetinje, Plava, Gusinje, Petrovac and Kolashinin.
Initially, the building of the Municipality of Bar was evacuated, where the court, the prosecution, as well as the party premises are located.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Niksic has called on citizens to remain calm, writing on Facebook that “it is terrible that someone in this way threatens people’s lives.”
“As in some primary schools, the municipality of Niksic received a report of a bomb planted with threats to endanger human lives. We acted immediately to evacuate people from the building, in cooperation with CB Niksic,Said Kovacevic.
The local self-government building was also evacuated in Berane.
The Mayor, Tihomir Bogavac, told “Vijesti” that the building was evacuated according to the recommendations of the police.
“They are taking measures and actions within their competences,” said Bogavac.
This morning all three primary schools of the city were evacuated, as well as three schools of the rural area due to the emails that have arrived at the addresses of the schools for the placed explosives.
In almost all schools in these cities, teaching has been suspended for the time being while the police are continuing the investigations and controls.
