In some rare footage from Scotland, an “irate” female driver screams at a couple who were cycling naked and then crashes into them, knocking them down.
The naked couple, 52-year-old Colin Unsworth and 31-year-old Sadie Tann, say they were raising money for a charity by cycling naked on July 4 when they were confronted by the woman’s car.
As they were pedalling, a car parallel to them slowed down and the female passenger yelled, “You’re a fucking whore.”
The couple were thrown off their bike and the car then rolled over, but they were not injured.
Colin, from Adlington, said he was surprised by the aggression shown, as he said he had received a lot of positive feedback for his initiative.
“Most people laugh and when they ask us we say we do it for charity, but in Perth we were attacked by a driver who hit us. There had been several cases when people called the police, but not this level of aggression.”
Police said they take the incident seriously and will press charges if the culprits are found.
Colin and Sadie say they are cycling 50 miles every day to raise money for the mental health charity.
In Britain nudism is no longer a criminal offence, but in England it can be used to cause harassment, alarm or mental disturbance.
