A tourist who fell from the eighth floor of a hotel in Thailand during a party, was revealed today that she was a Russian model of erotic networks.
Evgenia Simonova, 37, suffered fatal head injuries and a broken leg after falling from a residential complex in Pukhet, but police said she had a lock of human hair in her fist for which a DNA test is being performed.
The woman had social networks under other names and had broadcast live images on adult networks, a few days before her death.
In one of the videos, she introduced herself as a “network model” and welcomed visitors to her “closed online room.”
Smirnova was originally from Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, and later settled in Moscow, from where she headed to Phuket in Thailand on May 25th.
Her body was found Thursday morning. The deceased had come to Thailand several other times.
Shortly after the fatal incident in the Patong area known for its nightlife, police arrested another Russian, Natalia Kosenkova, 35, and two men on suspicion of drug use, the local daily wrote.
The men were named as American Jamaal Antwaun Smith, 38, and Jordan Ahmad Radi Mustafa Alatoom, 28.
Alatoom was stopped while taking a flight out of Thailand shortly after Smirnova’s death.
The media quoted police as saying there was evidence of “sex, drugs and alcohol” in the Emerald Terrace apartment from which Smirnova fell to her death.
Kosenkova, a DJ model who had previously traveled to Dubai and Ukraine, claimed today on social media that he had been released and that Sirnova’s death was an “unfortunate incident” but did not provide further details.
Earlier, a copy of Kosenkova’s passport was published in the media.
“The case is not complicated because we are not guilty,” she said, adding that lawyers had advised her not to give details about the incident.
“The only thing I can say is that it was an unfortunate accident but not a murder, and none of the people involved are to blame. “They kept us in the police station but now they have released us.”
Kosenkova said she had known Russian compatriot Simonova only on the night of the incident.
She further denied reports in the Thai media that the party included sex and drugs, despite reports from police that condoms and finely ground cannabis had been found.
“I did not know Evgenia Smirnova until that evening. “She came to the party where we were, and then called her friend Alatoom, who was behaving inappropriately.”
“I can say that my friend Smith and I, with whom I have known for a long time, behaved with dignity and politeness. Policia na besoi. “We have been living here for months.”
Earlier, police Colonel Chomphunuch Anantayakun said: “We believe that the woman may have fallen accidentally from the balcony, but it could also be a murder born of a fight. We are questioning the people involved. “The hair on a woman’s hand will be analyzed for DNA to see who it belongs to.”
