Paola Miranda-Rosa, 31, is now missing after she was last seen in Wekiwa Springs Park in Florida, USA, where other visitors had recorded her bathing in the wild.
Police have already released the video where the woman is drowned swimming in the river known for the density of American alligators.
Shortly after her bath in the dangerous Wekiva River, Miranda-Rosa has not been seen since December 18th.
In footage recorded by park visitors, the 31-year-old is seen swimming in the shallow waters of the scenic spot.
Police believe other witnesses may have seen Paolan and appealed for information from the public.
Sheriff Marcos Lopez said: “Maybe someone else in the park saw him in another area of the water. “These are her last pictures when she was seen alive, but that does not mean that the woman did not come out of the water in another location.”
Officers said they searched with boats and divers in the Wekiwa River but found no other signs of it.
Authorities in Florida say the park has a designated place to swim that is a natural pond, but people entering the water is not allowed on the Wekiva River.
In 2015, a woman almost lost her arm when bitten by an alligator in the Wekiva River although such attacks are rare at around 10 a year across Florida.
Paola’s family believes she is still alive and has raised $ 15,000 in donations to hire a private detective to look for her.
Paola Miranda-Rosa is of Latin descent, with red hair and about 1.60 tall.
